BE AN SSLG!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Access the Online COC Filing System
All prospective candidates for the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) elections shall first access the official SSLG online portal or any school-approved COC submission platform designated by the Electoral Board.
Candidates must ensure that they are properly registered in the school database and possess valid student credentials. Registration or login credentials are required to access the online filing system.
The candidate shall complete the online COC form, providing truthful and accurate information, including full name, grade level, section, and other personal data required by the system. Any misrepresentation of information may result in disqualification.
The candidate shall select the specific position for which they intend to file their COC. Positions must conform to the organizational structure of the SSLG as recognized by the school administration. Changing of electoral position is strictly prohibited.
Upon completion, the candidate must submit the online COC form. A confirmation receipt or acknowledgment of submission shall be generated. Candidates are required to save, print, or otherwise secure this confirmation as proof of timely filing.
2. Prepare Required Supporting Documents
Following the successful online submission, the candidate must prepare all required supporting documents to establish eligibility. These shall include:
A valid student identification card issued by Maliwalo National High School.
An endorsement or certification from the candidate’s class adviser confirming academic standing and eligibility to participate.

A recent photograph of the candidate, in the format and size prescribed by the Electoral Board (commonly passport size).
All documents must be authentic, current, and correspond exactly with the information submitted online. Failure to provide accurate or verifiable documents may constitute grounds for disqualification.
3. Submission of Required Documents
The candidate shall submit hard copies of all required supporting documents to the SSLG Election Committee or to their designated adviser within the timeframe specified by the Electoral Board.
Candidates must ensure that submitted documents are complete, legible, and consistent with their online application. Any discrepancies must be rectified immediately upon notice from the Election Committee.
4. Verification by Adviser/SSLG Election Committee
Upon receipt of documents, the candidate’s eligibility shall be formally reviewed and verified by the class adviser in coordination with the SSLG Election Committee.
The committee shall examine all submitted documents, cross-check online application entries, and confirm compliance with all eligibility requirements as prescribed by school rules and the SSLG constitution and by-laws.
Should deficiencies or inconsistencies be detected, the candidate will be notified and provided an opportunity to correct or submit additional documentation. Failure to comply within the prescribed period shall result in disqualification.
